The best 3/4 pound burgers in Montana! They source their meat locally. The burgers are gigantic and taste great. The sweet potato fries were wonderful. The regular fries were hot and soft on the inside with a perfect golden crisp on the outside. Place was clean, service friendly and great rugged ambiance. Certainly our go-to when in the area.
Staff is fun and friendly food is awesome. If I didn't have to drive 40 miles one way to eat here I would be here way more often.
When we pulled up to the oxen yoke for the first time we pulled up to see about a dozen nice classic cars, that was our first clue as to the quality of the place. It was a busy night and we're low key kind of people but even with it being packed we were pleased with the atmosphere and care put into the place. It was clean and welcoming. We ordered and considering the amount of people already there the food came at a reasonable time and it was GOOD. Reasonable pricing and thought put into it. They even toasted the buns to hold up the 3/4 pound burger but still be soft. Not to mention the crew showing real hospitality and working their butts off.
